A Return To The Virtual Felt

I started on 4-14-2010 with ~$3 in my Pokerstars account, and another desire to build a bankroll by mainly playing limit holdem. I feel that I play it a little better than no limit, and, at least for me, I feel it helps me with tilt control.

Anyways, I have been using HEM and started playing $.02/.04 FL 6max games, and played about 15k hands of .02/.04 while making almost $26. I then started fitting in some .05/.10 games, and eventually switched to just that. Over 15k hands at .05/.10, I made ~$46. By this time, my account has been in the $60-$70 range, and I have been slowly trying to add some .10/.20 limit games, but started with a huge downstreak. AK on a AK84 board vs 88, and many cold decks like this had me staying in the .05/.10 game.

Well May 6 comes around, and I see a $22 FLHE event on the SCOOP schedule for May 8, and I decided I wanted to play, but couldn't afford an entry via direct buyin, so I went looking for FPP satellites. I ended up winning 3 of them, playing in the event, and winning $44 in T$. I was considering using a T$ trading service, but figured I would give the knockout SnGs a shot on stars, and proceeded to play 4 of them, a mix of buyins, totaling $44.60, and ended up cashing for $83.40, boosting my bankroll to ~$145. With that boost, I am taking another shot at .10/.20 FL, and am looking to build. Ultimately, since I multitable, I want to make sure that as I move up the limits slowly, that my BR is big enough. Ideally, I would have liked to have about 1000 big bets before moving up limits in the future.

I hope to keep this blog updated, at least every few days, and hope that my journey may show something that is capable.
