A Losing Day

I am done early today. I have had a bad day already, and feel like I am ready to tilt and blow more money, so I just closed my Pokerstars client.

I played 2 of the $4.40 180 man tourneys,and didn't cash in either.

As for the cash games, I played 668 hands and had a loss of $7.05. Nothing went right, and I just couldnt take it anymore.

Might watch a couple movies today. Have a good one, and hopefully tomorrow I will return with a clean mind.

Starting Bankroll: $125.93
Ending Bankroll: $110.08
Profit/Loss: -$15.85

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
I've had too many of those days.

I have to wonder, though, what you were doing playing in those $4.40s.
Much more than 5% of your bankroll, and 9 times out of 10 you are not going to cash in them.
Maybe next time you want to play a tounrey, try a $2.20 satellite to the Sunday Hundred Grand. You'll only get $11, but you'll win it more often and your roll won't take as big a hit.

OK, end of sermon. (If only I could practice what I preach!)

Now go out go back to your winning ways tomorrow.

It wasn't more than 5%. 5% of $100 would be $5 and I had more than that.

Oops! Sorry, I meant 2%.(I'm using Chris Ferguson's guideline for tournament buyins.)

I know it's an old post but I have to comment and agree with Anon. You need at least $220 to play the $4.40 comfortably. Stopping if you go down to $200.
